Germany sure got lots of love for 10969! I got the recommendation from Anna, who knows that ONE OK ROCK is really important to her friend Alina. Looks like these two are also concert buddies, as they went to the recent Cologne gig together and were seen on Taka-san’s IG video as seen on Anna’s report. 🙂
Alina is also an 18-year old student from Germany whose love for ONE OK ROCK is just amazing! She found the interview thing interesting and wanted to take part in it too, so I sent in the questions for her to answer. It didn’t even take an hour for her to finish answering them! *hugs Alina* I think her answers are really cool, esp. the message she has for OOR.
Question 1: How did you find out about ONE OK ROCK & when was the first time you heard them?
The first time I listened to ONE OK ROCK must have been when I was 11 years old I guess. I was watching a video where Naihi shinsho was played and I started to check out the band.
Question 2: What is your favorite OOR song and why?
My favourite song so far has been Be The Light, I just love that song for its message.
Question 3: Do you collect their merch? If yes, which ones do you have?
I bought a sweatshirt, beanie and hoodie at both concerts, in Hamburg and Cologne.
Question 4: Who is your favorite ONE OK ROCK member and why?
I don’t really have a favourite member even though I really like Taka, because he’s a role model when it comes to his past and what he has reached so far.
Question 5: How did ONE OK ROCK change your life?
They have taught me that there’s always a way to leave the darkness and that there are people around me who love me for who I am.
Question 6: Have you watched any of their live performances before? What were your expectations before the live and were they met? Did you have your close ONE OK ROCK encounter and how did it go?
First time was in Hamburg 2014, last time in Cologne 2015. Absolutely amazing memory and I miss them, their live performances are just perfect!! I had a kind of close encounter when I had met them in both cities and asked for selfies, haha!
Question 7: Will you watch them live again and if yes, where do you want to watch them again?
Somehow I’d like to and somehow not. I miss their old and very own music style, but after all they know how to do a great concert.
Question 8: What is your message for ONE OK ROCK in case they get the chance to see this interview?
I’d really like them to know that their fans support them for their own music style and not for their new American style. They don’t have to change their music to meet any expectations of their fans or so.
She is very pretty. (And very humble irl too.) You agree, don’t you? =)
